  The Gospel of John 1:19-22

  And this is the record of John. when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art  thou?

  And he confessed and denied not, but confessed , I am not the Christ.

  And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he said I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.

  Then said they unto him, Who art you? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What say  you of yourself?

  He said, I am The Voice Of One Crying ,In the Wilderness, Make Straight The way Of The Lord , as said the prophet Isaiah.

People of God, it is time  to set your eyes upon Jesus once again.

When John came on the scene that was a great opportunity  for him  to make a great name for himself, in John 1:22 the religious leaders of the day asked him who are you, John's response was I am the Voice of one crying in the wilderness, this was a great chance for John to become a great celebrity, but he knew his purpose was  to point the the people to Jesus.

John stated " I am the voice", a voice is something heard But not seen, John was saying ,it does not matter who I am, the only thing that is important is who I am directing you to (Jesus The Christ).

Men and women of God, so as God was using John to get the eyes of the people off every one else and just focus on Jesus at Jesus 1st appearance, so is the Lord getting ministers together who's desire is not to make a name or reputation for themselves but to direct everyone to Jesus

for his second appearance.

Looking Unto Jesus The Author and Finisher of Our  Faith Hebrews12:2

The word of the Lord came to me some years back saying This last day revival will be a Jesus revival, where the name of Jesus will become a praise in the earth once again.

Let's face it, this generation know more about men and women of God but very little about the man that created men and women of God: Jesus of Nazareth.

Scripture said that they would worship and serve the creature (man) more than the creator( God ) Romans 1:25. Doesn't this sound like where we are today? Even in the church we are serving men and women, trying to get close to those of celebrity status but not much emphasis on Jesus.

The Lord also spoke and said the eyes of the people will be taken off man (male and female) and people once again will begin to exalt the name of Jesus and ministers would get upset because their name is no longer exalted. In Luke 19: a multitude of people began to praise and magnify Jesus and the Pharisees said to Jesus," Master rebuke your disciples, in other words, tell your disciples to stop praising your name, Jesus said " If these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Do you want stones or the unsaved taking your place? well praise Jesus then and no one or  nothing else.

The religious leaders of that time (John 11:48) said If we let him alone <speaking of Jesus> all men will believe on him and the Romans will take away both our place (position) and our nation, to be truthful I don't think they  where as much  concerned about their nation as they where about their place, if they where they would have gotten behind Jesus and encouraged the people to worship and praise and follow him like John the Baptizer did. When the people started turning their attention to Jesus, John said he must increase but I must decrease (see less of me and more of Jesus) but they, the ( the Pharisees) loved the praise of the people for themselves.

Ministers of this Great Gospel of Christ say Like Paul,

" For I Am Not Ashamed Of The Gospel Of Christ : For It

Is The Power Of God Unto Salvation to everyone that believes, to the Jew first and also the Greek[ (all mankind) Romans 1:16]

As you begin to exalt Jesus and lift him up before the people you will begin to see an anointing upon your lives like you never imagined, for it is the anointing that destroys the yoke off the lives of people. And always give the Glory to God, for truly It Is About Jesus And Not You.

Time for your new beginning

I would like to encourage you in the things of the Lord and to remind you  to  keep your faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I realize you may have or are   facing some challenges in your life, so many have given their life to Jesus and have been told, have been taught, and have  believed for years that the Father  sent his  son Jesus only to save you from sin and to keep you out of hell. Now don't  get me wrong, that is a very good incentive, and  God did send his son Jesus to save us from our sin.             

Matthew 1:21 "And she (Mary the mother of Jesus) shall bring fort a son thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

I am here to inform you today that according to the word there are some     other things Jesus came for, Jesus said in John 10:10:the thief (the devil)    came to steal ,and to kill, and to destroy: I am  come that they might have     life, and that they might have it more abundantly, friend whoever you are and  no matter what you have gone through , you are the "they" Jesus spoke of. Jesus also said in John 3:16-17  "For God so loved the world that he gave his  only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should  not perish,

but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him Jesus) might be saved."

Isaiah 61:1-3   "The Sprit of the Lord God is upon me: because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted ,to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

Realize today that no matter who you are and what your social /educational or financial status is, you still need a savior and Jesus is that savior. Realize that you cannot save your self and all your goodness or good works will not save you.

You have gone through some things in life and feel that God and life is not fair and just, but realize the Father God sent his son Jesus also specifically to bind up your broken heart, Jesus want to heal you of that inner wound. If some  one is hurting physically they go to a natural doctor, I want to tell you about a doctor that can get inside of you when the  natural doctor can't, reach areas where the doctor can't and  heal what the doctors can't, man will  tell you, they are limited ,you must trust in Jesus even more than you trust in natural man, so when they have done all they can do for you Jesus can go further.

You may be mourning over the loss of a job, personal property or the loss of a loved one, please realize Isaiah 61:3 (speaking of Jesus) ,he will give you the oil of joy for mourning, he will give you the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness

Luke 4:18-21 Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1&2 and stated "this day is this scripture is fulfilled in your ears. beloved not all those that heard Jesus where healed or delivered but those that believed on  him and in him ,and received him,  received of him.

John 3:16 "Who so ever believe in him:

My friend you can believe on Jesus and receive him as Lord and Savior right where you are: pray this prayer

Jesus I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross for my sin ,shed your blood for me and was raised from the dead, I  repent of my sin, and receive you as my Lord and Savior, thank God for saving you, don't be ashamed to own him as savior and pray and ask him to lead you to the church of his choice where the word is being taught and the minister love the Lord and his people that you may grow and mature in the things of the lord.
